About Abaana:

Abaana was set up in January 1998 and aims to show young people that by sacrificing a little time and money, they can really make a difference. Abaana works primarily with children in Uganda through child sponsorship, the "streetreach" programme for street children, and the "New Life" Rehabilitation homes, but they also sponsor children in Zambia, work in war-torn Gulu in the North of Uganda and have several water projects across Africa.

The Vision of Abaana

Abaana's vision is to see the children in Africa have their needs met, their rights upheld and their dreams fulfilled through raising awareness and motivating people to give sacrificially so that lives are transformed and the love of God is shown in a practical way.
