Christmas Team 2009:

When most of us think of Christmas, we think of Turkey, presents, spending time with family, Christmas carols, eating lots of food and chocolate and mince pies… but this is not the case for everyone.

This year, Abaana is taking a 13 strong team to Uganda to spend two weeks with the street children. We aim to show them the love of Jesus by serving them in practical ways - most of these children have never heard of Santa Claus, let alone have ever received a Christmas present, and often they do not know where their next meal is coming from.

This year, we have the chance to change all that, and to bring a smile to their faces.
